After one to three years of sales experience under an Indiana license, a real estate agent can apply for a broker’s license from the state Real Estate Commission. Required is a minimum of a high school diploma, completion of 90 hours of approved pre-licensing education and passing the final exam, passing the state exam and selecting a sponsoring broker.
